... first some history about us:

PearTree Music Productions is a full service Audio Recording Facility located just South of Boston in the town of Pembroke.  The specific location for the studio was very carefully chosen for its peaceful, creative environment.  We come from an extensive musical background encompassing Live Performance, Show Production, Music Composition, and Commercial and Private Recording Production.  Due to this diversity in the music business, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional quality on "both sides of the glass" -- Engineering, Music Performance, Producing, Musical Arrangements/Assistance.

On your first visit to PearTree Recording Studio it is immediately evident that you are walking into a facility built from the ground up, in great detail, to be a world class recording studio.  The design and construction of our studio is due to the world renound talents of Michael Blackmer, of Electric Lady Studios, Boston Symphony Hall, Aerosmith, Synchrosound/The Cars studio fame.  Every sound space was built to Blackmer's exacting specifications, using TEF and MLSSA analyzers for acoustic accuracy.

Each of our four performance spaces as well as the control room have been built using true Floating Contruction design to allow for the greatest seperation and isolation.  In addition, the acoustic wall treatments have also been designed by Michael Blackmer to tailor the room acoustics.

Our most recent addition to our services is our brand new Mason and Hamlin Grand Piano.  Perry personally sampled over 300 pianos in 4 states before hand-picking this grand over every other major Piano manufacturer including Yamaha, Steinway, Schimmel, Knabe and Kawai.  Please browse our website for photos, credits and sound clips celebrating this exquisite instrument.
